Music Therapist Accredited (CAMT)
Being a passionate musician (violin, voice, guitar), Sarah Milis, M.A., M.T.A., F.A.M.I., holds a Bachelor's
degree in Music Therapy from Université du Québec à Montréal (2007) and a Master's degree in the same discipline from Concordia University (2012). Accredited by the Canadian Association for Music Therapy since 2008, she has worked with a variety of clientele, in different settings. In schools, for a community organization and in private practice, she has worked with children having a pervasive
developmental disorder, learning and/or behavioral disabilities, as well as with multi handicapped
adolescents. She has worked several years in hospitals, within the Palliative Care, Psychiatry and Active
Geriatrics units. At the same time, she has been working with elderly people in long term care facilities.
Since September 2014, she is a part-time faculty member at Concordia University where she teaches
Music Therapy. Finally, she completed her training in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music
