Cynthia Saini, B.A., BSW, holds a Bachelor of Arts, joint Specialization in Anthropology, Sociology and a minor in Psychology (2007) from Concordia University, as well as a Bachelor in Social Work (2011) from McGill University in Montreal. She employs primarily a strength based existential-humanist and eco-systemic approach. Additionally, she has received continuing education training in MBCT (Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy) and DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy). She has worked in several community organizations with a focus on mental health and advocacy, such as Face a Face and Club Ami. She is also co-currently employed at the Centre de santé et des services sociaux du Sud- Ouest-Verdun in their Youth Mental Health services program. At Expression LaSalle, she leads mindfulness based relaxation and discussion groups. Cynthia Saini holds the professional title of Social Worker from the Ordre des Travailleurs Sociaux et des Thérapeutes Conjugal et Familiaux du Québec (OTSTCFQ) and a psychotherapy permit issued by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.
